Sometimes a purchase doesn’t work out as expected. This guide explains how refunds generally work when you buy from a creator using Pocketsflow.

Who you’re buying from

When you purchase, you’re buying directly from the creator.
  • Pocketsflow powers the checkout and delivery.
  • The creator sets the specific refund terms for their products, as long as they comply with the platform’s policies.

Step 1 – Check the refund policy

Before requesting a refund:
  • Review the product page for any refund or guarantee details.
  • Review the platform-wide Refund Policy:
These two sources together describe what you can expect.

Step 2 – Contact the creator

To request a refund:
  1. Reply to your confirmation email, or use the support contact information on the product or creator site.
  2. Include:
    • Your name.
    • The email used at checkout.
    • Any order or receipt IDs.
    • A brief explanation of why you’re requesting a refund.
Creators may ask follow-up questions to better understand your situation.

What happens next

If the creator approves a refund:
  • The payment will be reversed according to their agreement with Pocketsflow and payment providers.
  • It may take several business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
If a full refund is not possible, the creator may offer a partial refund or another resolution.

Disputes and chargebacks

If you cannot resolve an issue directly with the creator:
  • You may be able to raise a dispute with your bank or card issuer.
  • Pocketsflow’s Disputes Policy explains how these are handled:
We strongly recommend trying to work with the creator first; disputes can take longer and may have additional consequences.
