Social proof is one of the strongest levers you have to increase conversions. This guide explains how to collect, manage, and display text reviews in Pocketsflow.

Why reviews matter

Strong reviews:
  • Reduce perceived risk for new buyers.
  • Answer silent objections (“Will this work for someone like me?”).
  • Highlight specific outcomes and benefits in buyers’ own words.

Collecting reviews

Typical ways to collect reviews include:
  • Post-purchase emails asking for feedback.
  • Links on the thank-you page pointing to a review form.
  • Direct prompts in your community or newsletter.
When asking for reviews, be specific:
  • “What problem did this solve for you?”
  • “What was your favorite part or most valuable outcome?”

Adding reviews to your pages

In the Pocketsflow dashboard:
  1. Open the product or page where you want to show reviews.
  2. Go to the Reviews or Social proof section.
  3. Add text reviews, including:
    • Reviewer name (or initials if anonymized).
    • Optional role or context (for example, “Course creator”, “Designer”).
    • Short quote that highlights value.
  4. Save and preview the page to ensure formatting looks good.
You can also bring in quotes from social platforms (for example, X posts) as long as you respect their terms and your own privacy policy.

Best practices

  • Lead with specific, outcome-focused reviews.
  • Avoid cluttering the page—3–6 strong reviews are usually enough.
  • Keep testimonials current; update them as your product evolves.

Handling negative feedback

Not every piece of feedback will be glowing. Use it to:
  • Improve your product or onboarding.
  • Clarify your marketing to attract better-fit buyers.
You don’t have to publish every review, but you should take all feedback seriously.
