# Report a seller

> How and when to report a seller or product that you believe violates Pocketsflow policies, and what happens after you submit a report.

Pocketsflow takes fraud, abuse, and policy violations seriously. Reporting helps
keep the platform safe for everyone. This page explains when to report, how to
do it, and what happens next.

## When to report a seller

Consider reporting when you see:

* Products that appear to be **scams** or are **clearly misleading**.
* **Prohibited items** or content that violates laws or platform rules (see the
  [Prohibited Items policy](https://www.pocketsflow.com/prohibited-items)).
* **Intellectual-property abuse** — someone reselling content that isn't theirs.
* A seller **refusing to honor clearly stated policies**, or acting abusively.
* **Fraudulent charges** or a listing that doesn't match what's delivered.

<Note>
  A purchase not meeting your personal expectations is usually a **refund**
  matter, not a policy violation. Try the creator first and see
  [Buyer refunds](/buyers/refunds). Report a seller when a **rule** appears to be
  broken.
</Note>

Before reporting, where appropriate, make a good-faith attempt to resolve the
issue directly with the seller.

## How to report

Use the official reporting form:

  `pocketsflow.com/report`
</Card>

Include as much detail as possible so the team can investigate efficiently:

* **Links** to the product page or seller.
* **Screenshots** of the issue (listing, messages, or charges).
* Your **order or receipt IDs**, if relevant.
* Any **communication** with the seller.
* A clear description of **which rule** you believe was broken.

## What happens next

<Steps>
  <Step title="Review">
    The Pocketsflow team reviews your report against the platform policies.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Investigation">
    Additional information may be requested from you or the seller.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Action">
    Where warranted, actions can include warnings, listing removal, payout holds,
    suspension, or removal from the platform.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Not every dispute results in account action, but **each report helps improve
safety** and informs the team's monitoring. For privacy and legal reasons, the
specific outcome of a report about another account may not be shared with you.

## If you were financially harmed

Reporting a seller is separate from getting your money back. If you paid for
something fraudulent:

* Request a [refund](/buyers/refunds) and, if needed, contact
  [Pocketsflow support](/buyers/contact-support).
* As a last resort, you may dispute the charge with your bank (see the
  [Disputes Policy](https://www.pocketsflow.com/disputes-policy)).
