# Partner program

> Refer new sellers to Pocketsflow and earn a share of the platform fee on everything they ever sell.

The Pocketsflow Partner Program pays you for growing Pocketsflow itself: bring
new **sellers** to the platform with your referral link and earn a share of
Pocketsflow's platform fee on **every sale they ever make**.

  This is different from [Affiliates](/operations/affiliates): affiliates promote
  a specific seller's products **to buyers**; partners bring **new sellers**
  (customers) to Pocketsflow.

## How it works

<Steps>
  <Step title="Connect a payout account">
    Go to **Settings → Payments** and connect your payouts account first,
    so commissions can be paid. **Enrollment is blocked until a payout account is
    connected.**

    Open **Partner Program** in the sidebar and enroll. You get a unique referral
    link with a code like `PF-a1b2c3d4` (an 8-character code):
    `…/referral?code=PF-a1b2c3d4`.

  <Step title="Share your link">
    When someone signs up through it, they're attributed to you **permanently**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Earn on every sale">
    Each time a seller you referred makes a sale, your commission accrues
    automatically: your **commission rate** (default **40%**) of Pocketsflow's
    **2% platform fee** on that sale.

<Warning>
  PayPal does not work for partner or affiliate payouts — only the connected
  payout account is used to pay commissions.

<Note>
  Your commission comes out of Pocketsflow's own platform fee — it **never
  reduces what your referred sellers earn**, so there's no downside for the
  people you refer.

### Example

You refer a creator who sells a **\$49** course:

* Pocketsflow's platform fee is 2% → **\$0.98**.
* At a 40% commission rate you earn **40% of $0.98 = $0.39** on that sale.
* And on **every future sale** they make, with no extra work.

## Tracking your earnings

The Partner Program page shows live stats:

* **Total signups** — sellers who joined through your link.
* **Total sales** and **total revenue** from your referred sellers.
* **Your commission** — the exact accrued amount the payout system will pay
  (computed per sale, not an estimate).
* A **table of referred users** and your **payout history**.

## Getting paid

Your connected payout account receives all commissions. Payout runs
work the same way as [affiliate payouts](/operations/affiliates#how-commissions-are-funded-and-paid):

| Rule            | Detail                                                                                  |
| --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Hold window** | Commissions become eligible after a hold period (**14 days** by default).               |
| **Minimum**     | Runs skip amounts below a minimum threshold (**\$1** by default) until they accumulate. |
| **Grouping**    | Grouped **per partner, per currency**.                                                  |
| **Exclusions**  | **Refunded**, **disputed**, and **test-mode** sales are excluded.                       |
| **Status**      | Each payout appears in the **Payouts** table as `pending`, `completed`, or `failed`.    |

Every qualifying sale is claim-stamped before its transfer, so a commission is
never paid twice.
